Youth Recreation and Enrichment
Spring-Ninja and Nerf 8-12
Ninja Gym is an action-packed class, ninjas jump, crawl, balance, and climb through fun obstacle courses while building strength, coordination, and confidence. Each class encourages listening skills, teamwork, and imagination in a safe, supportive environment where every child can feel like a ninja hero! This class will alternate weeks of obstacle courses with weeks of Nerf games. Participants will be able to bring in their own nerf blasters or borrow one of ours. Eye protection is required for all nerf events and no battery powered nerf blasters.

Summer 1: Geocache and Swimming - West Washington
West Bend is the Geocaching Capital of the Midwest; it is a treasure hunting game played with hand held GPS units. The class will search for hidden caches located within walking distance of the Y, then come back to cool down for a bit in the Family Adventure Pool. If weather is bad, class will do indoor scavenger hunting games and play games to learn how a compass works.

Summer 2: Slime and Swim Adventures
The best of both worlds — creative sensory play and splash-filled fun!
Our Slime & Swim Adventure Class starts with hands-on slime making, where kids mix, stretch, and customize their very own slime creations. From colorful add-ins to fun textures, children explore creativity while developing fine motor skills and early science concepts through guided, age-appropriate instruction.
After slime time, we transition to supervised free swim in the Family Adventure Pool!

Winter 2-Ninja and Nerf 7-9
Ninja Gym is an action-packed class, ninjas jump, crawl, balance, and climb through fun obstacle courses while building strength, coordination, and confidence. Each class encourages listening skills, teamwork, and imagination in a safe, supportive environment where every child can feel like a ninja hero! This class will alternate weeks of obstacle courses with weeks of Nerf games. Participants will be able to bring in their own nerf blasters or borrow one of ours. Eye protection is required for all nerf events and no battery powered nerf blasters.
